Dont Hire a Lawyer to Beat Speeding Tickets - Read This First

by Eva Baker

Many people just get a speeding ticket, go home, cry or get angry, then send the money away in the mail. When I got my speeding ticket, I was going to do the same thing - until I found out that there was a way to get the ticket completely erased from my driving record.

As a result of this, I saved a ton of money in ticket charges and increased insurance rates, and I also avoided getting driving points or marks against my record. Furthermore, I avoided going to driving school.

People try a variety of different ploys to avoid paying the tickets, but most of them don't help the problem. One argument many people make (which usually doesn't help) is to try to claim that everyone around you was speeding too. Other people try to cry their way out of it, but judges usually aren't overly sympathetic to this strategy.

Never apologize to the officer for speeding. As soon as you've done this, you admit your guilt - and the officer will be sure to tell the judge about your apology.

Here are the best strategies to use for defending yourself against a speeding ticket. First, do not pay immediately. Second, never hire an attorney. Both the prosecuting attorney and the police officer will act on the assumption that you have no clue how to defend yourself, and so will simply pay the ticket. If you don't, their money-making operations slow to a standstill. This is the best way to defend yourself against a charge of speeding.

If you don't learn how to fight a speeding ticket successfully, you'll experience more consequences than you think, so spending a few dollars to keep your record clean only makes sense. Like they say, knowledge is power. And in this case, that statement couldn't be more true. Don't let the legal system win!
